Liturgical and devotional use
Saint Michael the Archangel is the protector of the Church Militant and patron of many parishes, shrines and military corps. The 110 cm fibreglass statue is suited to permanent display in churches dedicated to the Archangel, votive chapels and the entrances of sacred sites. The triumphant pose — with the vanquished demon at his feet — expresses the victory of good over evil that is characteristic of Michaeline iconography.
Craftsmanship
The hand-painting of the glass eyes and the polychrome wings makes each statue a unique piece. On request, the version without glass eyes or with a lance instead of the sword is available.
