Liturgical and devotional use
Saint Teresa of Avila, Doctor of the Church and reformer of the Carmelite Order, is venerated in Carmelite churches and in parishes that celebrate her feast on 15 October. The 150 cm statue is suited to churches bearing her name as titular saint, to the chapels of Carmelite monasteries and to the principal niches of naves. The bouquet of roses recalls the traditional spiritual gift attributed to the saint at her death.
