Liturgical and devotional use

Saint Clare, foundress of the Poor Clares and patron saint of television, is venerated especially in the churches and convents of the Franciscan Order. The 130 cm statue is suited to churches bearing her name, the side altars of Franciscan parishes and the chapels of Poor Clare monasteries. The monstrance in her hand recalls the miracle by which the saint defended the convent from the Saracen raids.
