Liturgical use

A crucifix with a 180 cm body and a 360 cm cross is as much an architectural element as a devotional one: scaled for apses, rear walls, monumental chapels and high altars of large churches. The monumental scale calls for a carefully planned placement that allows the faithful to contemplate the Crucifix from throughout the nave, making it the visual focal point of liturgical celebration and individual prayer. The glass eyes intensify the expressiveness of the body of Christ, bringing the classical iconography closer to devotional realism.

Craftsmanship

The fibreglass body is lightweight relative to its dimensions, facilitating installation. The wooden cross is selectable from the product menu: it is possible to order the body alone or the complete set with cross.
