Use
The double press is the traditional tool for cutting hosts and small hosts from the large host sheet baked according to liturgical norms. It allows, in a single manual operation, both the large 7.5 cm hosts (for the celebrant) and the 3.5 cm small hosts (for distribution to the faithful) to be produced. The wooden drawer collects the cut hosts and prevents the loss of fragments, in keeping with the Eucharistic reverence required by the liturgy.
