Liturgical use
The pedestal baptismal font is the centrepiece of the baptismal area in churches and chapels. Intended for the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism, it holds the blessed water used by the celebrant during the rite of immersion or infusion. The generous basin and anti-oxidant lining make it suitable for continuous use in parishes, oratories and Marian shrines.
Craftsmanship
The two-tone gold/silver finish enhances the chiselled decorations on the base and central band, giving the font a dramatic presence suited to both traditionally styled settings and newly built churches.
