Liturgical use

The wooden tabernacle is the preferred choice of religious communities of Franciscan or Benedictine spirituality, which favour natural materials and strictly sober forms. Its compact size makes it suitable for private chapels, home oratories, sacristies and side altars where the Blessed Sacrament is reserved for Communion outside Mass or for distribution to the sick.
