Liturgical use

The sunburst halo is one of the most deeply rooted symbolic elements in Christian sacred iconography: the circle of luminous rays around the head or the whole figure expresses divine glory and holiness. Placed on devotional statues in naves, side altars or niches, it adds light and solemnity to the representation, guiding the prayer of the faithful. Availability in gold-plated and silver-plated versions allows it to be matched to the liturgical furnishings already present in the setting.
