Liturgical use
The perpetual lamp before the Blessed Sacrament is prescribed by the Roman Rite as a sign of the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. The red light of the lamp instinctively draws the eye towards the tabernacle, fostering recollection and devotion among both visiting faithful and those present for liturgical celebrations. Recommended for churches, shrines and perpetual adoration chapels.
