Use

Saint Teresa of Ávila — Doctor of the Church and reformer of Carmel — is venerated in Carmelite churches, enclosed monasteries and the chapels of women's religious institutes. The 60 cm format suits private chapel niches, prayer tables and devotional shelves. Her feast on 15 October is the occasion for communal devotion. The flowers and cross she holds evoke her spirituality of self-gift and contemplative prayer.
