Liturgical use
The Crucifix is the central sign of every Christian church: placed on the altar or on a processional cross-staff, it directs the gaze of the faithful towards the mystery of Redemption. This Tacca-style model — which recalls the Mannerist tradition of Italian sacred sculpture — is suited to churches, shrines and chapels of historical and artistic character. The large dimensions (corpus 155 cm, cross 300 cm) destine it for the solemn spaces of the sanctuary or the principal naves.
Craftsmanship
Hand reproduction in fibreglass achieves a high level of anatomical and expressive detail. The wooden cross — selectable at the time of purchase — may show natural variations in the wood grain, a characteristic of handcrafted production.
