Liturgical and devotional use
Saint Peter, first of the Apostles and first Bishop of Rome, is the patron of countless churches and dioceses. The 180 cm statue is suited to churches dedicated to Saint Peter, to cathedral churches of episcopal sees, to seminaries and spirituality centres that look to the Petrine ministry. The classic iconography — the keys and the mantle — makes this statue immediately recognisable to the faithful as a sign of the apostolicity of the Church.
