Use
Our Lady of Mount Carmel is the patroness of the Carmelite Order and the central figure of Scapular devotion. Her statue is present in Carmelite churches, in parishes with Confraternities of Mount Carmel and in Marian shrines. The feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on 16 July is the most important occasion for procession and veneration. The 175 cm scale creates a strong visual presence, suited to main niches, high altars and covered outdoor spaces.
Craftsmanship
The gold highlights on the mantle and robe are applied by hand after the base coat, with painterly touches that enhance the edges and drapery. The Regina Mundi version is distinguished by the visible crown and the Madonna's regal posture.
