Liturgical use
The liturgical rose colour is among the least common in the celebrant's wardrobe, reserved for only two Sundays each year: Gaudete in Advent and Lætare in Lent. The chasuble thus becomes a sign proclaiming Christian joy in the midst of the season of waiting and penance. The micromonastic fabric facilitates storage over long periods, keeping the colour fresh over the years.
