Liturgical use
The jug and plate are the liturgical instruments for Baptism by infusion: the celebrant pours blessed water over the head of the candidate using the jug, while the plate below collects the run-off. The hand-chiselling gives this set an artisan character that also makes it a fitting gift for a newly established parish. The 35 cm plate offers an ample collection surface.
