Liturgical use
The 35 cm plate provides a wide surface for collecting the water poured during the celebrant's hand ablution or at baptismal ceremonies. The hand-chiselling gives the foliate ornaments relief and three-dimensionality, enhancing this furnishing during solemn liturgical celebrations. Recommended for parishes, historic churches and the chapels of seminaries and religious houses seeking liturgical vessels of artisan quality.
