Liturgical use

Functionally identical to the standard pyx, this version is distinguished by the Ichthys symbol — the fish with anchor, a Christian sign from apostolic origins — which recalls faith in the living Christ and the connection with the missionary mandate. Suited to extraordinary ministers of Communion and to priests who desire a pyx with strong symbolic meaning for the ministry to the sick and for Eucharistic distribution outside the church.
