Liturgical use

At 7.5 cm in diameter, this pyx offers greater capacity than the 5.4 cm version, making it suited to carrying a larger number of hosts for Communion to the sick at multiple stops. The IHS monogram — abbreviation of the name of Jesus — is the Eucharistic symbol par excellence, present on tabernacles and church furnishings throughout the world. Recommended for priests and ministers of Communion serving in hospital settings or mission territories.
