Devotional and liturgical use
Our Lady of Sorrows is among the most venerable images in Catholic devotion, celebrated on 15 September and the central figure of Good Friday processions. The 110 cm statue is suited to churches, confraternity chapels, side altars and devotional niches. The recollected expression and prayerful posture foster the contemplation of the faithful and meditation on the sorrows of the Virgin during Holy Week and penitential services.
