Liturgical and devotional use
The statue of Saint Clare is intended for the churches of Poor Clare and Franciscan communities, the shrines of Assisi and parishes that celebrate her feast on 11 August with solemnity. The lantern in the right hand recalls the traditional iconography of the saint as a bearer of light, making it particularly meaningful in the chapels of women's religious communities and in places of spiritual retreat.
