Devotional use
Our Lady of Mount Carmel is the patroness of the Carmelite Order and is venerated in numerous confraternities and parishes on 16 July. The 130 cm statue is well suited to the Carmelite altar in parish churches, to the 16 July processions and to permanent display in the chapels of Carmelite monasteries. The glass eyes heighten the realism of the iconography.
